Originally from the Cape Verde Island of Maio, has been lulled with the music of the archipelago and its illustrious singers such as Mayra Andrade or the Brazilian Djavan who still inspire him. He learned to play the guitar when he was 12 years old and very soon he created his first bench to play a wide repertoire of traditional and contemporary songs from Cape Verde.
After emigrating to the Canary Islands he became involved in a group of r'n'b and hip hop. Then, inspired by the literary density and the songwriting demands of rap, but now with the sweetness and melancholy that characterizes the island music of his origins, he launched a new solo career.
Between world music, funana, morna, fado and bossa his compositions are full of poetry; Their rhythms are simple, pure but very effective.
