Diese Mbangue is a multidisciplinary artist born in Cameroon and resident in Morocco.
As his name suggests, he never stops developing and progressing while producing the image of the artist who has an outsider's ear, but retaining the traditional musical heart and soul of his country, Cameroon, and the warmth of the sounds of the African continent.
Without locking himself into Western sounds, he dresses his songs with diverse colors and influences. His music describes the dynamic Africa that dreams, vibrates and is not culturally dependent. In his works Diese exposes fundamental social themes that give him the opportunity to paint a new society, as he sees and feels it. Their messages focus on talking about society, describing it, telling it, communicating it and inviting it to change.
His project SOUL MUSSANGO, together with the French artist Pierre-Paul Mayer, is a powerful and fresh breath of afro-rock and electro-jazz.
