Formation originating from the neighboring and still unknown Gambia, started in 2004 by volunteers from the national Red Cross led by Mbye Bittaye, famous musician and now manager; HUMANITY STARZ brings together a dozen young musical talents from the country who support and mix with the delicate voice of the already notorious Alieu Badara.
They interpret their creations Afro-Acoustics with sensitivity and energy, being recognized as one of the best bands of Mbalax from West Africa. They fuse modern rhythms with traditional and tribal music with such a personal touch that the public remembers their own style, the GamAfro.
Under various formats and combinations, the productive band has recorded three albums and seduced the most heterogeneous audiences in concerts, festivals, and competitions from Africa from North to South, from East to West, making people discover Gambian culture through their careful fusion of rhythms.
