Viviane Chidid is a Lebanese-Senegalese singer who has already conquered an entire continent with her music.
Born in Mbour, a port city south of Dakar, where he began organizing small concerts in hotels with artist friends. In 1993 he became a backup singer for the group Youssou N'Dour, the «Super Etoile of Dakar. Viviane gained international notoriety with Youssou N'Dour, especially for performing with him his worldwide hit, "Seven Seconds», in some public concerts.
At the same time, Viviane embarked on a solo career, releasing her first album in 1999 to great success. From then on he formed his own group, «Djolof Band", and culminated a series of albums, hits and pan-African tours, offering his Mbalax revisited with a sound R'n'B with such authenticity and success that she earned the nickname "Queen of the Mbalax».
