At just 12 years old, Manou Gallo leaves her hometown in the West of Ivory Coast where her grandmother raised her for joining the troupe of a musical that tells her own story and with which she toured West Africa for 4 years and recorded 4 albums.
After touring with legendary groups like Zap Mom or children Drums de Braza, has led his own band since 2003 as lead singer, percussionist and bassist, winning prestigious awards (MAMA 2009 on MTV Africa), the ears of music lovers from all over the planet and the recognitions of great figures of the musical scene such as Manu Dibango, Wyclef Jean or Marcus Miller with whom he collaborates.
Her fourth album, Afro Groove Queen (2018), is a musical adventure between Africa, Europe and America; he funk, he jazz and the afro-groove by main sound dyes; and prestigious guests like Manu Dibango, Bootsy Collins, Chuck D. and their friends Zap Mother.
